Vice-President – Tracie Murphy

About Tracie: Bio coming soon!

Treasurer – Angela Azevedo

About Angela: I am proud to be on the Board of Directors for the Sacramento Republican Assembly (SRA), an active member of the California Republican Assembly (CRA), and even more proud to be part of the conservative Republican movement! I attended my first Sacramento Republican Assembly meeting at Denny’s on J Street when Tom McClintock was their guest speaker, and they chanted “run Tom, run.” They were urging him to toss his hat into the ring for Governor in the first ever recall in California of Governor Gray Davis. It was at that meeting I learned the CRA was dubbed the “Conscience of the Republican Party” by former President Ronald Reagan. The CRA espouses the values of the “Right Wing of the Republican Party” that I hold dear and knew then, and even more sure of it now, the CRA is an organization I want to be part of.

I am the proud mother of two beautiful daughters, two handsome sons-in-law, and Nana to Olivia and Candido, Jr., the most precious and beautiful grandbabies in the world (no bias here). I am making it my mission to teach all of them the importance of limited government, protecting our liberties: civil, economic, religious and social, in addition to encouraging personal responsibility – the greatest lesson of all. I encourage everyone to check us out, be part of the conservative movement, and join one of the best Republican volunteer clubs in Sacramento!

Membership Director – John Stoos

About John: John E. Stoos is a political consultant active in California politics for over twenty years. He served as Executive Director of Gun Owners of California for over five years, worked with Ted Costa of People’s Advocate on the historic recall of Gray Davis and has hosted his own talk radio show, Dialog, here in Sacramento. John most recently served as Chief Consultant for Senator Tom McClintock for ten years and is Vice Chairman of Cherish California’s Children, non-profit organization that distributes ProLife literature to side-walk counselors and educators across the country. John and his wife Linda live in Sacramento where they enjoy their six children and twenty-two grandchildren.

Immediate Past President – Jeffrey Allen

About Jeff: Jeff is proud of his association with the organization that Ronald Reagan called, “the conscience of the Republican Party,” and he is thankful for the opportunity to have lead the Sacramento Republican Assembly.

Jeff’s introduction to political activism started with his support of Proposition 22 to protect the definition of marriage. He is concerned with the current fiscal crisis as well as the burden that local, state, and federal governments have laid upon the citizens through irresponsible spending. He is also concerned with the pervasive social engineering in the public environment.

Jeff is an IT Analyst and hopes to start graduate studies soon. He is a member of myriad organizations from the Sacramento Taxpayers League to the California Republican Party and is Co-Founder of Support The Platform. Jeff has also held volunteer leadership positions with several political campaigns including Steve Poizner for Governor.

Jeff is a native of southern California near the Arizona and Mexico borders. He moved to Sacramento in 1985 and has lived there since. He met the fetching Mrs. Allen in 1995 while attending American River College; she captivated his heart and continues to inspire him today.
