			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We will be hosting a special Candidates Forum for the upcoming Senate District 1 Election.  Candidates Roger Niello, Ted Gaines, and Barbara Alby will be taking your questions and offering their take on the important issues facing the district and the state.  </p>
<p>Social hour begins at 6pm.  There will be pizza and drinks for a $5 donation.  The program starts at 7pm.  The meeting will be open to the public, so bring your friends!  Questions will be limited to CRA members.</p>

<p>This month the Sacramento Republican Assembly will be meeting at a <strong>new and different</strong> location at the La Sierra Community Center, Room 810 5325 Engle Road, Carmichael, CA. 95608</p>
<p>Our speaker this month will David J. Hacker. Mr. Hacker serves as litigation staff counsel with the Alliance Defense Fund at its Sacramento Regional Service Center in California, where he litigates cases to protect the rights of Christian students, faculty, and staff at public colleges and universities across the nation. Joining ADF in 2005, he is admitted to the bar in Illinois and California practiced law in Chicago, Illinois. Hacker has been in practice since 2004 and earned his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He served as an ADF Blackstone intern at the Pacific Justice Institute and is a 2002 ADF Blackstone Fellow. Hacker practiced in a private Chicago firm before joining ADF.</p>

<p>The Sacramento Executive Board will be meeting this Friday at Noon, March 19<br />

<p>Attendance and participation is open to all members of the SRA, but<br />
voting is limited to executive board members.</p>
<p>In a separate matter, I have been named the Sacramento County<br />
volunteer chair for Chuck Devore&#8217;s Senate campaign.  For those of you<br />
who don&#8217;t know, the CRA endorsed Chuck on the first ballot last<br />
weekend.  If you&#8217;d like information on how to get involved in Chuck&#8217;s<br />
campaign, let me know!</p>
